Mission Statement
New Horizon School for the Performing Arts. We are an Elementary Kindergarten-6 th Grade Public Charter School with a private school quality and no tuition. We will teach the core content areas of education and the performing arts in a safe, healthy, nurturing and drug-free environment. We strive to bring our students professional, high-quality performing arts instruction in the areas of voice, orchestra strings, drama, musical theatre and dance. We provide experiences that stimulate growth of the students so that they may lead lives that are personally fulfilling and that contribute to, and improve, the society in which they live.
We maintain an inclusive environment, which acknowledges and respects children from diverse family and cultural background. We are incorporated. We are sponsored by the Arizona State Board of Charter Schools.

Who teaches music & dance programs?
New Horizon only hires only professional dance and music teachers to provide excellence in the arts.

What are your school days & hours?
Our School hours are from 8 AM – 3 PM Monday through Friday. Many other schools have l/2 days on Wednesdays and are off on Fridays, we are not.
School hours are 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. While many other schools have ½ days on Wednesdays and are off on Fridays, we are in school 5 days a week.
Do you have new enrollees in your school?
New Horizon not only has new enrollees, but many cousins, brothers, sisters and now we are getting our Alumni bringing their children.
Yes, new enrollees are welcomed. At New Horizon, we pride ourselves with returning students. Many
students have extended family members that come to our school. We also find that alumni of NHSPA
are now enrolling their children.
Why do alumni bring their children to New Horizon?
Happy, Safe, great memories that they want their own children to have of a wonderful Elementary school and most students stay from Kindergatin through 6th grade.

Do you feed the students?
We provide FREE breakfast 7:00 – 7:45 AM and FREE lunch for ALL students.
What type of curriculum do you provide?
We provide the Top Curriculum available, leveraging leading computer learning programs.
What type of teachers do you have on staff?
Most of our teachers have taught at New Horizon for 10-25 years. We have a very happy staff & cohesive team.
Do you provide any EL education?
We provide FREE after-school tutoring for EL 2nd-6th graders.
